Position Title : IT DBA Specialist Sr

Location : Remote

Duration : 11+ Months- Possible of extension

Pay Rate : $57.00 / hr on W2

MANAGER'S NOTES :

• Extensive experience in Oracle performance tuning, including : SQL query optimization, Index and execution plan analysis, AWR / ASH report interpretation, Use of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other diagnostic tools
• Proven ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in OLTP and OLAP environments
• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, including memory structures, background processes, and storage management
• Experience with Oracle high availability configurations such as : Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), Data Guard (physical and logical standby).
• Familiarity with performance tuning in other RDBMS platforms such as : MariaDB (e.g., slow query log analysis, optimizer hints), PostgreSQL (e.g., EXPLAIN plans, vacuum tuning), SAP HANA (e.g., query plan analysis, memory management)

PRIMARY PURPOSE : To develop, implement and maintain the Enterprise database system in a combination UNIX / NT environment; and to develop policies, standards and procedures related to the database environment.
