Imaging Aide / Evenings / Part Time | SVH

This part time position will work M-F 3p-8 : 30p.

General Overview :

This job provides support for staff and patient care within the assigned imaging department.

Essential Responsibilities :

1. Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures. (30%)

2. Performs post-procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies. Assists with inventory control. (30%)

3. Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports / imaging, entering data, in electronic medical records, import and export through appropriate means and methods. (20%)

4. Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary. (20%)

5. Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications : Minimum :

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months' experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
