- full-time Ophthalmology Coder or billing specialist.
- Essential Responsibilities
- Review physician documentation and assign diagnoses and procedures using current ICD-10 and CPT coding to ensure all codes are appropriate for optimal reimbursement
- Assist with denials related to coding issues, as necessary
- Communicate with physicians regarding documentation needed in reports
- Maintain coding certification
- Perform related work as required and / or assigned
- Required Education, Experience and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- and
- Minimum 3 year of Ophthalmology billing / coding experience
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize job duties under general supervision
- Capable of working under time constraints
- Time Management skills to meet client productivity goals
- Highly motivated, independent and innovative
- NOTE :
- Current applicable certification (CPC or other applicable certification), preferred
Job Type : Full-time 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm
Expected hours : 40 per week
