Senior Billing Specialist

Large growing Ophthalmology practice seeks experienced

• full-time Ophthalmology Coder or billing specialist.
• Essential Responsibilities
• Review physician documentation and assign diagnoses and procedures using current ICD-10 and CPT coding to ensure all codes are appropriate for optimal reimbursement
• Assist with denials related to coding issues, as necessary
• Communicate with physicians regarding documentation needed in reports
• Maintain coding certification
• Perform related work as required and / or assigned
• Required Education, Experience and Skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• and
• Minimum 3 year of Ophthalmology billing / coding experience
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize job duties under general supervision
• Capable of working under time constraints
• Time Management skills to meet client productivity goals
• Highly motivated, independent and innovative
• NOTE :
• Current applicable certification (CPC or other applicable certification), preferred

Job Type : Full-time 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm

Expected hours : 40 per week
