Work Schedule

Enjoy a balanced work-life with hours from 7 : 45 AM to 5 PM , including a 1-hour lunch , four days a week.

    • About TFD-Temperance

    TFD-Temperance, like every Heartland Dental-supported office, is unique to the community and the patients we serve. With a dedicated practice manager and a highly trained team, you’ll have access to all the resources and support you need.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Strong knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
  • CPR Certification.

    • Preferred Experience

  • 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but we welcome new graduates!
  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions.
  • Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to starting employment.
