As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, as a Mechanical Engineer III you willengage in all phases of a rapid product development cycle, from conceptualization to formal design, implementation, environmental testing, and final integration. In this hands-on role, you will work entirely onsite at our Los Angeles Facility with the Space Resources Program team. We're seeking a mechanical engineer who can engage in all phases of a rapid product development cycle, from conceptualization to formal design, implementation, environmental testing, and final integration. We value self-motivated, hands-on individuals who can find practical solutions to abstract problems. Our teams work in fast-paced cycles of design, analysis, and construction to deliver a scalable solution.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering, robotics engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years minimum relevant work experience.
• CAD fluent (Creo or similar).
• Hands-on fabrication, build, and test experience.
• Experience with subsystem integration and highly integrated system-level design.
• Experience with task planning including budgets and schedules.
• Experience with spacecraft engineering.
• Experience coordinating procurement with suppliers, partners, and vendors.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Compensation Range for :

CA applicants is $117,498.00-$164,497.20

Required for certain Job Profiles : Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
