Job descriptionAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination fo education and experience. 2-5 years of experience working on heavy mobile equipment in the construction and / or mining industry. This includes working on system hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and control systems. Valid New Mexico Class D or higher driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and edit reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Have good public contact and interpersonal skills and conduct oneself in a manner that is professional and business-like at all times.
VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Sales Representative for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM.
This is a full-time Direct Hire.
Pay for this position is $55,000-$85,000 DOE.
As a Sales Representative, you will :
- Provide sales and marketing departments with territory service needs and sales leads information.
- Provide customers with on-site technical support and training for prime product installations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of technical publications libraries.
- Travel throughout all territories to call on and sell all prime product parts, service, and related products.
- Responsible for assisting in executing sales plans to include cold calling, and site visits.
- Work as the liaison between MEGA functional departments and customers for service repairs, modifications, parts returns, and warranty issues.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Works with accounting department on required paperwork.
- Prepare reports of business transactions, trip reports, and monitors expense accounts.
