Our client, a highly regarded publicly held industrial manufacturing organization headquartered in Central Connecticut, is seeking a talented Corporate Assistant Controller to join its leadership team. This is a high-exposure, strategic finance position that will work closely with the Corporate Controller and CFO to help lead the financial function of a growing, dynamic, and enduring company.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes for U.S. and international business units.
- Manage financial consolidations and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Support the preparation and review of SEC filings and related disclosures.
- Prepare for and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with auditors.
- Conduct technical accounting research and lead the implementation of new accounting standards and related process improvements.
- Drive financial analysis, internal control enhancements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA required.10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity.Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and technical accounting expertise.Experience in public accounting with a Big 4 or large national firm.Prior experience working on or for publicly held companies.Manufacturing industry exposure.Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage complex projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
