What You’ll Do
Drive strategy and roadmap for the Credit team including APIs, underwriting, operational processes, and monetization.
Work closely with the engineering team and other product managers on resource planning and execution of the roadmap, carefully balancing scalability and new feature development.
Be fully accountable for the Credit team’s metrics and permeate the sense of accountability throughout the team.
Be extremely data driven, working closely with our analytics team to define and refine metrics that help us drive the business forward.
Actively engage with customers, commercial teams, compliance, risk and other stakeholders to understand their perspective and take their feedback to build a world‑class product.
Multiply your impact by guiding and growing junior team members that work directly or indirectly on our Issuing product.
Who You Are
Experience—8+ years of working experience in product and adjacent functions within a fintech‑ or financial services environment, 3+ years of experience building credit products.
Product Management—product manager at heart with all product management skills, including scoping technical features with engineering, creating tactical solutions together with customers, and setting goals for the product.
Leadership—strong sense of initiative and self‑motivation; demonstrated ability to lead (directly or indirectly) a team of PMs.
Entrepreneurship—hands‑on, strong project management skills taking full ownership and control over projects.
Customer‑centric—able to translate technical complexity back to customer impact and understand the needs of different customers.
Mindset—entrepreneurial mindset; able to form a vision and work with engineering teams to implement it.
Proven record—experience in launching and scaling world‑class products.
Communication—solid communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures.
Domain expertise—experience in credit cards, charge cards, or other credit related products.
The annual base salary range for this role is $258,00 - $348,000 in San Francisco and $235,00 - $317,000 in Chicago, plus RSUs; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please click here.
