Job description11 / 12 / 2025 - 13 weeks Patient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : Approximately 20 patients / day Case Mix : Pain management patients (chronic and acute) EMR System : Epic Office Equipment Available : Standard clinical equipment Specialty Backup Available : Physician onsite Fridays Support Staff Available : Nursing and administrative staff Reason for Coverage : Supplemental coverage Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 60 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered (No flights required) Pain medicine interventions including injections and neuromodulation Follow-up care and medication management Development of additional treatment plans Licenses : Active North Carolina license (Required) Board : Board Certified in Pain Management DEA : Active DEA Certification (Required) Certifications : BLS and ACLS (Required) Experience : Minimum 2 years in Pain Management Other Qualifications : Training and support provided by onsite physician Provide clinical pain management services including evaluations, follow-ups, and medication management Perform pain medicine interventions such as injections and neuromodulation Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for chronic and acute pain patients Collaborate with onsite physician for training and guidance on advanced pain management techniques Document patient care accurately in the Epic EMR system
