Location of Position :

Hybrid – 95% remote with one day in the SSAFLogistics Houston Office once every two weeks!

The Position :

We are looking for a strategicand detail-oriented Part-Time Public Relations Manager who will play apivotal role in driving the development and execution of strategic PR plansthat align with business objectives and enhance brand visibility. This individualwill contribute to the overall success of SSAF by crafting compelling content,managing media relations, and overseeing social media presence.

Position Responsibilities :

• Create and implement PR plans that align withbusiness objectives and brand values.
• Develop and execute crisis communication plansto manage any negative publicity or issues.
• Plan and manage PR events, including conferences,trade shows, and community outreach.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities,and public sentiment to inform PR strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensureconsistent messaging and branding.
• Write and distribute articles and other content,highlighting services and achievements.
• Oversee social media, ensuring consistent, engagingcommunication across all platforms.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with keymedia contacts and journalists.
• Coordinate and produce press releases, mediakits, and other promotional materials.
• Manage the company’s reputation throughproactive and reactive media relations efforts.
• Assist company spokespeople with preparation forinterviews and public appearances.
• Track the effectiveness of PR campaigns,providing recommendations for improvement.
• Analyze and report on media coverage and PRmetrics, using data to refine strategies.
• Foster community relations by organizing andparticipating in community initiatives.
• Identify and leverage opportunities for awards, sponsorships,and speaking engagements.
• All other duties as assigned.
