Experience : Minimum 18 months of LDRP experience

License : RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP

Must-Have :

Experience with all aspects of LDRP patient care

Experience in circulating c-sections

Experience with newborn care, including heel sticks

Knowledge of 24-hour testing and NAS scoring

Ability to provide lactation support

Experience in postpartum care

Skills in newborn resuscitation (NRP)

Description :

The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for the care of patients undergoing LDRP.

They will assist with GYN surgical patients as necessary.

Patient ratios will adhere to AWHONN guidelines.

Resource team support will be available for charge nurse and case management duties.

The facility boasts two triage rooms, four labor and delivery rooms, nine Mother-Baby rooms, and a C-section suite.

Floating may be required to other facilities within the region based on the needs of the organization.

Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend.

Holiday expectations include working 75% of holidays.

Requests for time off may be approved up to six days, excluding holidays.

The schedule will cycle every six weeks.

Scrubs should be navy blue or business casual when commuting to and from work.
