Travel Sterile Processing Tech – Glens Falls, NY

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : ASAP

Shift : 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM, Monday – Friday

On-Call : None

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend / holiday required

Charting : EPIC

A facility in Glens Falls, NY is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) to assist with instrument reprocessing, sterilization, and distribution to support surgical services.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience

BLS certification required

Sterile Processing certification (CRCST or CSPD) required

EPIC experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Disassemble, clean, sterilize, and reassemble surgical instruments

Operate washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic machines, steam and EO sterilizers

Inspect instruments for cleanliness, proper assembly, and functionality

Maintain inventory and proper documentation in EPIC

Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
