Halff is seeking a highly skilled Survey Practice Lead to oversee and elevate our survey operations across a 1,400-person engineering/architecture firm. You will guide a practice of 140 survey professionals organized into 14 teams, driving technical excellence, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.

What you will do:

• Lead the strategic direction, performance, and innovation of the firm's Survey Practice.
• Standardize workflows, QA/QC, and technical practices across all survey teams.
• Mentor team leads and support professional growth and succession planning.
• Optimize staffing, resource allocation, and operational performance.
• Support project pursuits through scoping, pricing, and technical leadership.
• Strengthen internal and external client relationships and represent the firm at industry events.
• Advance adoption of new survey and geospatial technologies.

What you will need:

• Active Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license in Texas (and ability to obtain additional states).
• Bachelor's degree.
• 15+ years of survey/geomatics experience and 5+ years leading multi-team operations.
• Deep technical expertise methods, geospatial workflows, and modern equipment/software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and business acumen within a multidisciplinary AE environment.
• Active in professional organizations.
