Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized support for students with visual impairments in a K-12 public school setting. This full-time, contracted position spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational experience of students aged 3-21.

Location : Kenosha, WI

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver direct instruction tailored to the needs of students with visual impairments, focusing on academic and functional skills
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and promote student success
• Travel between multiple district locations as needed, with a caseload of approximately 10-15 students
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students with visual impairments within the school munity
