Supply Chain Support Associate

Responsibilities PURPOSE OF POSITION : Assists supply chain team in procuring materials, supplies, and / or services, with close supervision and oversight. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : (Examples of work performed – responsibilities listed do not necessarily apply to all positions in this job title).

• Conducts transactions for inventory management (Kanban, Packing Slips, RMR, Exception Reports, VMI, etc)
• Prepare and process purchase orders (Auto Creates)
• Data organization
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers
• All other duties as assigned EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience required : o External : 2 years applicable experience. o Internal : 1 year Altec experience, Supply Chain functions preferred. o APICS Certification counts as one year of experience
• Microsoft Office suite experience required.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred.
• Oracle / ERP system experience preferred.
