Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hackensack, NJ for a Superintendent. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual with construction experience to oversee and lead our construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires a unique blend of project management expertise and hands-on construction skills. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our diverse range of projects, while actively participating in on-site labor.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures to maintain a secure and high-standard work environment.
• Direct and coordinate crews, subcontractors and field personnel to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a three week look ahead for multiple crews and manage daily schedule.
• Monitor progress against timelines and budgets, implementing adjustments as necessary to stay within scope.
• Act as the primary on-site liaison for clients, project stakeholders, and the public, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Manage the delivery and use of materials and equipment, ensuring availability and minimizing downtime.
• Conduct regular safety checks and training, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
• Identify and address problems in the field promptly to prevent delays and maintain project momentum.
