Position Summary

The Cashier plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and friendly guest experience. This position is responsible for handling customer transactions, taking orders accurately, assisting with packaging, maintaining the front counter area, and supporting the overall daily operations of the restaurant.

• Key Responsibilities
• Greet all customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments; balance the register at the end of shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, dining, and beverage areas.
• Assist in packaging takeout and delivery orders to ensure accuracy and presentation.
• Support kitchen staff and management as needed during peak hours.
• Answer customer questions about menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Promote menu items and daily specials to increase sales.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health standards.
• Help with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory at the front of house.
• Qualifications
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred (restaurant experience a plus).
• Friendly, professional, and reliable with strong communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for handling POS systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
