Grade : 140

Salary : $19.08 / hour

Job Duties :

  • Responsible for the management and administration of the Inmate Legal Library and for providing assistance in the uses of the library facility to the inmate population.
  • Trains and supervises volunteers assigned to work in the library.
  • Coordinates / solicits and collects book donations, reviews, and maintains books and book carts, distributes books to the inmate population in a timely manner, recycles damaged books, supervises the activities of inmate workers when stocking bookshelves and book carts.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of experience working in the Criminal Justice System.
  • Must possess / maintain an active telephone.
  • Must submit to and pass a police background check and drug screen.
