Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist providing comprehensive respiratory care across various modalities. This full-time day position involves responding promptly to resuscitation events and respiratory emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities : Deliver respiratory treatments and interventions following established protocols, maintain accurate and thorough documentation in patient records, and assume charge therapist duties when required.
Education & Certifications : Must obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials within 36 months of hire if initially hired as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification by the American Heart Association is required.
Experience & Skills : A solid understanding of medical terminology and modern respiratory care techniques is essential. Candidates should demonstrate calmness and composure in high-pressure situations, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Physical & Other Requirements : Manual dexterity to operate respiratory equipment, visual acuity, stamina to stand or walk for extended periods, and the ability to safely move patients and equipment are necessary. Awareness of psychosocial and developmental needs across all age groups, from infants to adults, is important to provide tailored care.
