Overview :

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Windows System Administrator to take ownership of maintaining, optimizing, and securing their Microsoft-based infrastructure. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring high system availability, supporting enterprise applications, and leading initiatives to enhance performance, scalability, and automation across the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016 / 2019 / 2022) and Active Directory infrastructure.
• Administer and support Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
• Oversee patch management, system upgrades, and performance tuning to ensure optimal uptime and security.
• Manage virtualization environments (VMware or Hyper-V) and perform regular capacity planning and optimization.
• Implement and support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Partner with Security teams to maintain compliance and implement security best practices across all systems.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using PowerShell or similar scripting languages to streamline administrative tasks.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex system and application issues.
• Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and operational standards.
• Mentor junior system administrators and contribute to process improvements and technology roadmaps.
