Base Pay Range
$22.00 / hr – $30.00 / hr
Position Summary : As a Produce Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will model expertise in produce and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Produce and Floral team to execute the business plan.
- Communicate department goals and company programs while adhering to policies.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of floor operations, quality, inventory, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance.
- Manage seasonality, product knowledge, and time prioritization across areas.
- Provide resources, training, and knowledge sharing to ensure the team performs effectively.
- Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Make immediate business decisions using handheld technology related to production, training, and quality.
- Drive business results, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, a neat and safe work area, adequate staffing, audit accuracy, and merchandising standards.
- Teach and train the team to be highly effective, identify and develop potential, and support career growth.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to implement processes and practices that meet business needs.
- Promote and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 6 months experience working in a fresh produce department or supervising a team.Must be 18 years of age or older.Ability to complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.Preferred Qualifications
