Health Information Coding Manager

A company is looking for a Coding Manager for Inpatient and Outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage inpatient and outpatient coding functions to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness

Conduct regular audits and provide educational feedback to staff on coding accuracy and compliance

Manage budgeting and staffing for coding areas while serving as a liaison for coding-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

Current credential with AAPC or AHIMA

5 years of coding experience preferred

3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred

Strong background in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD coding

Knowledge of state and federal healthcare billing requirements
