Clinic-Based | Full-Time | $80,000–$100,000 / Year (Including Bonus Potential)

At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) , we help children with autism build confidence, independence, and essential life skills through compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

We’re seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Colonial Heights clinic . This onsite role offers a collaborative, team-based environment with consistent weekday hours and the support of experienced leadership.

Position Details

  • Location : Colonial Heights, VA (clinic-based)
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, consistent daytime hours
  • Employment Type : Full-time, in-person
  • Reports To : Clinical Director
  • Compensation : $80,000–$100,000 per year (based on experience and certification; includes bonus potential)

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized ABA treatment plans
  • Supervise and mentor RBTs and Behavior Technicians to ensure quality service delivery
  • Provide caregiver coaching and collaboration to promote generalization of skills
  • Review and analyze client data to guide clinical decision-making
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with BACB and AutismCOE standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and clinic-based collaboration
  • Who You Are

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Virginia, or eligible to obtain prior to start

    Requirements

    Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and treatment models Ability to develop and update individualized treatment plans Proficiency in supervising and mentoring RBTs and Behavior Technicians Competency in functional behavior assessment and behavior reduction programming Skilled in data analysis to inform clinical decision making Effective written and verbal communication with caregivers and clinical team members Ability to coach families on behavioral strategies and generalization procedures Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to maintain accurate, timely documentation Proficiency with clinical data collection platforms (e.g., Catalyst, CentralReach, Rethink — or “similar ABA software”) Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while still contributing collaboratively Commitment to BACB ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards
