Position Responsibilities
- Manage all business aspects of multiple concurrent projects and ensure financial targets are met while maintaining established quality standards
- Supervise and mentor project managers, assistant project managers and project engineers on the project team
- Support and manage Plumbing field supervisors including scheduling, training, and employee performance management
- Actively maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and quality of service
- Manage all activities associated with materials, budgeting, and production for assigned project(s)
- Plan and schedule resources to meet project milestones
- Act as liaison with the customer and project staff to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues, communicate regarding project milestones, etc.
- Manage project related correspondence and documents through designated document management systems
- Ensure adherence to Power Design's standards of quality, safety, and best practices
Here's What We're Looking For
Minimum 10+ years of related project management experience with a Plumbing / Mechanical contractorStrong knowledge of Plumbing and Hydronic Piping systems used in large scale high-rise, multi-family, and / or commercial projectsAbility to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment with tight deadlinesCommitment to providing responsive, top-tier customer serviceStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized, detailed-oriented, and efficientAbility to travel (up to 25%)Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suiteExperience with Oracle (or other formalized project management software) and Accubid (or other estimating software) preferredExperience with remote project management (with only occasional visits to job site) preferredDemonstrate and uphold Power Design's core values, including integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growthBenefits and Perks
