  • Location : Rome, NY 13440 (Central New York nursing jobs)\n
  • Contract Type : Per Diem (Travel Nursing)\n
  • Start Date : October 27, 2025\n
  • End Date : January 24, 2026\n
  • Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM); flexibility to cover day shifts a plus\n
  • Minimum Shifts : 2 shifts per month required\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 (typical)\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680-$1800\n
  • Openings : 3 Med / Surg RN positions available\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg or Telemetry nursing experience\n
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification\n
  • NIH Stroke Certification (required before start date)\n
  • Proficient IV skills; experience with cardiac drips, EKG interpretation, and wound care\n
  • Ability to float to Medical / Surgical units as needed\n
  • Completion of 8 hours of CEUs during facility orientation\n
  • Flu vaccine or declination (mask required if declining)\n
  • Travel nursing experience preferred\n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to Medical / Surgical and Telemetry patients\n
  • Monitor and manage cardiac drips; interpret EKG strips accurately\n
  • Perform wound care and IV therapy with clinical expertise\n
  • Float to other Med / Surg units as required by the healthcare facility\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols\n
  • Participate in ongoing education and orientation requirements\n
