Role Title :
- Senior Java Developer Location : 100% Remote (Must be based in Wisconsin ) Duration : Long-Term Contract Interview : MS Teams (Camera On) Required Skills (Need 10+ years and majority of these) : Java / J2EE (10+ years) Spring Boot / Spring Framework (5+ years) Microservices development (4+ years) Struts Framework (5+ years) Angular (5+ years) SQL expertise (5+ years) Oracle & PL / SQL (4+ years) API development & integration (4+ years) Hands-on Architecture & Design (4+ years) Experience with Maven, IntelliJ, Java 21 Experience supporting modernization initiatives (e.g., strangler pattern, lift & shift) Hybrid or Agile delivery experience (5+ years) Nice to Have Skills : Java Batch / JMS / MQ Automated Testing Best Practices DevSecOps & SonarQube WebSphere Liberty Use of GitHub Copilot or GenAI-based coding accelerators Previous experience working with Government agencies Role Overview : The selected developer will work as a senior technologist / technical lead supporting modernization of legacy Java applications .
- Responsibilities will include application upgrades, redesign using microservices and Angular, test automation, troubleshooting complex issues, and guiding CI / CD and modernization best practices. Powered by JazzHR
