Hiring safety-oriented Class A drivers to handle dry-van, 100% no-touch drop-and-hook freight operating east of I-135. This position includes competitive annual compensation, a sign-on bonus, additional pay opportunities for detention / layover / extra stops, late-model equipment, and predictable home time.
- Compensation : Annual pay from $75,000 to $85,000; $1,000 sign-on bonus; extra pay available for detention, layover, and additional stops.
- Home time : Biweekly (48 hours).
- Equipment : Late-model Freightliner and Kenworth tractors, fully equipped.
- Freight : Dry van, 100% no-touch drop-and-hook.
Primary responsibilities
Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle safely and in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.Perform no-touch drop-and-hook dry-van deliveries following account instructions and scheduled routes.Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs.Maintain accurate logs and required documentation, including proper use of ELDs when applicable.Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or operational issues.Comply with hours-of-service rules and company safety standards at all times.Minimum requirements
At least 21 years of age.Valid CDL-A license.Minimum of 3 months of solo tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 12 months (time in training or with a mentor does not satisfy this requirement).Ability to pass DOT drug screening and meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements for commercial drivers.Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication with dispatch and customers.Preferred qualifications
