- Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our team for the Day Shift, from 7 AM to 3 PM. In this role, you will provide essential support to our nursing staff and assist in delivering high-quality care to our patients / residents. Your dedication to patient care and teamwork will contribute significantly to the well-being and comfort of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities :Assist patients / residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.Help with mobility and transportation of patients / residents to and from different areas within the facility.Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients / residents, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.Assist nurses and other healthcare team members with medical procedures and patient care plans as directed.Provide emotional support and companionship to patients / residents, encouraging their participation in activities.Communicate effectively with patients / residents, families, and team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans and needs.Document patient / resident observations and care provided in accordance with facility guidelines.Attend training and staff meetings as required, maintaining compliance with facility policies and procedures.Qualifications :High school diploma or equivalent.Successful completion of a state-approved CNA or NA training program.Current certification as a nursing assistant in accordance with state regulations.Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong ability to work as part of a team and interact compassionately with patients / residents.Ability to follow instructions, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.Must be able to lift and move patients / residents in a safe manner.What We Offer :Competitive hourly rate and benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.Supportive and collaborative team environment.A chance to make a difference in the lives of our patients / residents.If you are passionate about providing excellent care and making a positive impact in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for the CNA / NA position on our Day Shift.
