Job Summary :
Pono Roots Counseling Center seeks a Family Systems & Trauma Integration Therapist to provide specialized therapeutic services for individuals, couples, and families. The therapist will use family systems theory, trauma-informed practices, and evidence-based modalities to deliver high-quality mental health care. This role emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and a focus on diverse and underserved populations in Honolulu.
Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify client mental health needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans integrating family systems and trauma-informed care.
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including interns and pre-licensed therapists.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development.
Follow all ethical and legal standards in providing mental health services.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Social Work (MSW), or related field.
Current licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC in Hawaii.
Minimum 2 years clinical experience in mental health.
Expertise in family systems theory and trauma-informed care.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
