What Youll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disturbances. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards according to site and Allied Universal protocols. Assist staff, visitors, and / or patients by providing information and support as needed while maintaining a security-related focus. Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency services during incidents requiring additional response. Minimum Requirements : An armed guard card or license is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
