Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need ICU position in Los Angeles with CA licensure and recent ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM for 12-hour shifts
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Must provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • EPIC charting experience preferred
  • Contingent workers may not exceed two years on assignment without a 90-day break per HR policy
  • COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be required

    • Requirements

  • Active CA RN license is required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year recent full-time equivalent ICU experience within the last 3 years
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certificate preferred
  • CCRN certification preferred
  • Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
