Job Title : Data Engineer (Junior-Mid Level)

Location : Philadelphia, PA. Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Employment Type : Contract (eligible for conversion)

About the Role

We are looking for a junior-mid level Data Engineer to help design and deliver data solutions that power business applications. You will focus on ETL / ELT development, data integration, and pipeline optimization while collaborating with senior developers in an Agile environment. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow their career in data engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Build, test, and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines for data movement and transformation.
Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Support data validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Document processes, workflows, and technical designs.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and daily team collaboration.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or Application Developer with data focus.

Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Hybrid availability : 3 days onsite per week.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Knowledge of scripting / programming (Python, Shell).

Familiarity with modern data engineering tools (dbt, Snowflake).
