Early Intervention Specialist - Therapeutic

HOURLY PAY : $20.20 to 22.84 / hour plus mileage reimbursement

Positions start as part-time hours (about 20-25 per week); potential to build up to full-time hours - depending on availability and caseload in the area

Position location : Trona

Raising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge, love, patience, and support. You will be part of a team that provides in-home early intervention specialized services for school-age children and youth where they can naturally learn and develop.

• Plan, schedule and provide early intervention and developmental support in school setting with school-age children and youth (ages 4 to 21 years old) who have been diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability.
• Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.
• Design, implement, and adapt activities for behavioral, language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social / emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices.
• Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and provide parents with written weekly activities and effective coaching.
• Monitor, document, and share the childs progress with the family and team.

Qualifications :

Some coursework or knowledge of Early Childhood education or Human Development is highly desired

ABA and / or Behavior Management skills / experience / training is highly desired

Also must have at least one year of history as a licensed driver (in any US state)
