Sr. IT Architect

The Sr. IT Architect is responsible for supporting strategic solutions and architectures that fulfill specific business and technology outcomes. Solutions include projects, products, systems, shared infrastructure services, and shared application services. The Architect performs the necessary analysis and design tasks that support the development of solutions to ensure solutions meet business needs and align with architecture governance and standards. This position creates deliverables for managing the "to be" and "as is" architecture intent for the assigned area.
Responsibilities :
- Research and provide information related to the adoption of emerging technology trends, disruptions, and practices relevant to assigned domain
- Engage key stakeholders to identify business and technology-enabled innovation opportunities that enable and drive business outcomes
- Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and document all architecture design and analysis work
- Develop solution and architecture deliverables to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects, and systems
- Participate in development and application of principles, standards, and patterns through the architecture assurance and governance model
- Develop, maintain, and evolve the architecture and solution context for assigned area
- Develop, maintain, and evolve the data model using architectural standards
- Develop, maintain, and evolve source to target specifications, where applicable
- Analyze and monitor assigned area to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and recommend solutions for improvement
- Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software and technology product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and / or relevant work experienceHS diploma or GED is required5 years of related work experience in Business Analysis, System Design and Development, Systems Engineering, or technical architectureMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications :
Experience with data modeling tools such as ER / Studio or ErwinExperience identifying and applying design patterns in solutionsAbility to communicate and present effectively with domain stakeholders to gain consensusAbility to define, plan and initiate architecture for assigned area and scopeDemonstrate wide understanding of the domain area, with ability to apply practical and pragmatic solutionsPreferred Qualifications :
