Allied Universal is currently hiring a full-time Security Officer for a pharmacy in Hyde Park, MA Wednesday - Sunday 2 PM - 10 PM. Starting pay is $22.21 per hour / Paid orientation / Paid training / DailyPay available.

As a Security Professional - Hospital Access Control in Hyde Park, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare, and more. As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related matters as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity observed during patrols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during the shift, following Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
