Preferred Experience MLS certification or equivalent with at least 5 yrs of leadership experience and a strong chemistry background

Job Summary

The Manager of Lab supervises technical and support staff and oversees daily Laboratory operations. This includes ensuring regulatory requirements are met and monitoring test systems. The Manager also supervises staff activities, work assignments, hiring, termination, performance reviews, orientation, and professional development.

ASCP-BloodBanking Technologist (ASCP-BB), ASCP-Chemistry Technologist (ASCP-C), ASCP-Cytogenetics Technologist (ASCP-CG), ASCP-Cytologist (ASCP-CT), ASCP-Hematology Technologist (ASCP-H), ASCP-Microbiology Technologist (ASCP-M), Molecular Biology Technologist (ASCP-MB), ASCP-Pathologist Asst (ASCP-PA), ASCP-Blood Banking Specialist (ASCP-SBB), ASCP-Chemistry Specialist (ASCP-SC), ASCP-Hematology Specialist (ASCP-SH), ASCP-Microbiology Specialist (ASCP-SM) : Must have one of the following :

Cert Histocompatibility Spec (CHS-ABHI), Cert Histocompatibility Techno (CHT-ABHI), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), Specialist in Cytology-ASCP (SCT), Specialist in Cytometry-ASCP (SCYM), Molecular Biology Spec-ASCP (SMB).
