- Patient Care : Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatment planning, and administering medications. Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.\n
- Coordination of Care : Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.\n
- Communication : Effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to address concerns and provide updates on patient status.\n
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.\n
- Training and Supervision : Mentor and guide nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs, ensuring adherence to care protocols and facility procedures.\n
- Compliance : Ensure all nursing practices comply with state and federal regulations, including infection control, safety protocols, and resident rights.\n
- Emergency Response : Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to stabilize and manage acute situations.\n
- Participation : Works with other nurses in taking weekend, night, and holiday calls on a rotating basis.\n\nQualifications : \n
- Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.\n
- Licensure : Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or Multi State.\n
- Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.\n
