We are seeking a Senior Field Service Software Applications Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation systems and Inpeco products across the North America region. This role involves software, firmware, and IT support and requires frequent travel to customer sites.
The position is home-based, preferably in the Northeast area, near a major airport .
Key Responsibilities :
Provide onsite support and lead the installation, service, and support of automation systems, focusing on SW, firmware, and IT.Provide remote and onsite support to customers, partners, and colleagues, including SW upgrades and configuration.Customer Facing Support : Interact professionally and courteously with all levels of laboratory personnel (Lab Manager, ICT, Technician) when servicing equipment.Provide phone support ( hotline ) and internal / external training .Participate in an on-call rotation internally and / or with customers and partners.Meet performance objectives set by the Team Leader and management, contributing to an annual MBO.Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures set by Inpeco and customers.Plan and organize travel independently based on the schedule defined by the Team Leader, adhering to Inpeco's travel policy.Complete daily and / or weekly reports on the performed activities.Travel : Availability to travel up to 75% of the time .
Internal Stakeholders : R&D, Sales, Inpeco IT.
External Stakeholders : Customers / End Users staff (Lab Manager, ICT, Technician) and Partners
We are looking for candidates with the following skills :
Experience Level : Specialist / Senior level with >6 ≤ 10 total years of experience and >
2 ≤ 5 years of experience in the role .
Education : Minimum Associates degree of Applied Science - Electronics (Military training or considerable experience will be considered).Technical Skills (Must Have) : Strong knowledge and problem-solving skills in :Linux
