Specialist, Business Development - Group Benefits
Are you passionate about cultivating effective relationships to drive sales growth? As the Specialist, you'll be responsible for nurturing existing national distribution channels while promoting benefits solutions to new and existing association, affinity and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) business segments. You'll work closely with field distribution, home office, marketing, licensing, and product teams to drive multi-million-dollar revenue centers.
Key Responsibilities :
Reporting Relationships : Reports to Manager.
Typical Skills and Experiences :
Education : Bachelors' degree preferred.
License / Certification / Designation : Life and Health license or ability to acquire within 60 days of hire required.
Experience : Typically, 3 or more years of experience preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills : Knowledge of level funding, self-funding, underwriting, and actuarial science. Negotiation, presentation and sales skills. Verbal and written communication skills to manage, negotiate and build relationships internally and externally with clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager's leader and HR Business Partner.

Working Conditions : Work from home / office sales environment. Significant travel may be required depending on location and assigned accounts.
