Experience a diverse case mix including General Surgery, Endoscopy, Vascular, OB, Ortho, and Bariatric Surgery, with exclusions of hearts, Neurosurgery, and Thoracic cases. Campus Coverage : Your responsibilities will be focused on the Samaritan Hospital campus, providing you with a dynamic and engaging environment. EMR Experience : Navigate patient records seamlessly with our Epic EMR system, ensuring efficient and accurate documentation. Patient Population : Engage primarily with an adult patient population, with a low volume of pediatric cases. Credentialing Process : Expect a streamlined credentialing process taking 2-3 months, requiring an active NY license. Operating Environment : Be a part of a team that operates in 7 well-equipped operating rooms, providing ample opportunities for professional growth. Anesthesia Techniques : Utilize your skills in administering Spinal Epidurals as part of your anesthesia techniques. Deliveries : Contribute to the delivery of approximately 100 babies per month, with a low epidural rate due to a thriving midwifery program, and a section rate of 15%.
