Position Description

To assist executive staff with a wide variety of activities including researching, analyzing and preparing various correspondence, presentations and reports concerning a wide array of business issues.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Researches, analyzes and prepares reports regarding a wide variety of highly confidential corporate issues. Makes recommendations to resolve or advance issues.
  • Serves as executive liaison to the board, management, professional, represented staff and external contacts in an effort to carry out the corporation's strategic goals and tactical business processes.
  • Participates in planning and coordinating Board of Directors and other board committee meetings. Reviews and recommends editorial changes to executive agenda books, reports and writes, and distributes minutes.
  • Facilitates and participates in the development and implementation of corporate projects, including attending committee and staff meetings and preparing notes.
  • Maintains the schedules of assigned executives and ensures that conflicts do not arise.
  • Composes and reviews executive correspondence and other communications.
  • May travel to meetings and other functions as required. Assists in ensuring that appropriate travel arrangements are made for executive staff.
  • Assists with compilation, development, review and monitoring of the annual budget.

Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.

Minimum Requirements : Position requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and two years' administrative support experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Position requires proficiency using personal computers and office software applications (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database), project management skills, and the ability to travel as necessary to execute job responsibilities; effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to resolve problems and use independent judgment.
