Telecommunications Helper (Wellsburg, WV)

Description

TEKsystems is in need of a Telecommunications Helper for our client in the Wellsburg, WV market. This client is a communications contractor offering a full range of fiber optic and cable network services. Servicing Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, Segra and Suddenlink in the States of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in Washington D.C., we are a trusted resource for cabling and maintaining high-speed internet connectivity via fiber optic and coaxial systems.

• These technicians will be aligned geographically and will be responsible for the hands on cable constructions in the WV Markets.
• These crews will be working along side a lead out in the field.
• They will be managed and held to standards by the construction coordinators and the customers.
• The technician will need to have experience with UG construction, pulling fiber or coax, digging, utilities, etc.
• They are expected to have experience using basic hand tools and being a team player.
• They will be hand digging, site organization, pulling underground and aerial cables and helping where needed so initiative out in the field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00 / hr.
