Job Summary

The SPT is responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, sterilizing, and assembling surgical instruments and equipment. This essential role ensures that operating rooms receive safe, sterile, and properly functioning instruments for every procedure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Completion of a Sterile Processing Tech program OR 1 year of SPD/OR Tech experience

• Must obtain CRCST (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD certification within 18 months

• Strong attention to detail and understanding of sterilization standards
