Contractor Development Manager
Position Summary : The Contractor Development Manager is responsible for recruiting, cultivating, educating, and advising installers of TimberTech and AZEK Exteriors to drive to create profitable, growing installation businesses, develop unbreakable loyalty with installers, and provide ideal matches between installers and consumers.
While this is an individual contributor position, this role requires partnership and collaboration with Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, the Contractor Marketing Team, and others within The AZEK Co. organization to achieve the goals.
Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of products, application, value proposition, and channel to market strategy for both AZEK and TimberTech lines.
Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities will be :
- Identify, manage, and share a target list of installers, and recruit them to The AZEK Co.'s installer loyalty program, The Board. A heightened emphasis should be placed on new installers who may not be frequently exposed to The AZEK Co. including landscaping firms, remodelers, and installers who typically use wood.
- Lead contractor networking events throughout the year to recruit new contractors into the loyalty program, educate on benefits with the loyalty program, and facilitate the sharing of best practices amongst contractors.
- Onboard new contractors with product training, installation training, running a business, etc.
- Work with new and existing contractors to set growth targets and develop plans to achieve these growth targets, including promotions to higher levels in the loyalty program, e.g. Gold to Platinum.
- Utilize Social Media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to increase AZEK's and the Contractor Loyalty Program's presence, provide helpful installation and business content, and create a positive community of growth-oriented installers.
- Leverage available data to determine the most impactful activities to prioritize by market for the contractor segment. Data could include contractor invoice submissions (how much they are buying, what they are buying, and from who they are buying, etc.), Sell To and Sell Through data in the market and region, and market demand data.
- Advocate for the Contractor Segment, particularly in the continual improvement of the contractor loyalty program.
- Manage Brand Ambassadors to ensure their output continually aligns with AZEK's objectives.
- Support the corporate initiatives including the launch of new products and programs by identifying customer targets and educating these customer targets on the new products and programs.
- Develop and propose intelligent custom end user programs to convert new contractors.
- Keep management team informed of key issues / opportunities affecting the contractor segment such as competitor products and programs.
- Create, update, and maintain contractor account records in CRM (SalesForce), while also maintaining call log in the CRM.
- Audit and maintain contractor profiles on the website(s).
- Maintain aggressive contractor call schedule throughout the year.
- Maintain Outlook calendar reflecting all appointments and schedules.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $128,500 in our lowest market up to $157,500 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
