As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and routine patrols. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting access control measures. Pay Rate : $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the utility location to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.

Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing assigned duties.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Must possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
