Position : Cath Lab / Procedural RN

Role Summary :

The RN provides comprehensive patient care in both pre-procedure holding and procedure lab settings. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care, while providing clinical leadership for the shift.

Key Responsibilities :

Holding Area : Pre-procedure preparation, patient assessment, IV starts, medication administration, ensuring patient readiness

Procedure Lab : Assist with invasive procedures, monitor hemodynamics, circulate or scrub, respond to emergencies

Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team

Post-procedure monitoring, recovery, and patient / family education

Skills & Competencies :

Critical thinking and technical proficiency

Strong communication and teamwork

Ability to manage high-acuity, fast-paced environment
