We are seeking a Board Certified Neurocritical Care Intensivist for a 6-month locum assignment in New Jersey. This physician will manage a 15-bed neurocritical care unit, providing 24 / 7 oversight and supervising advanced practice providers. Responsibilities include daily patient rounds, consult note writing, and performing critical bedside procedures in an adult level 1 trauma center.

We are hiring an Board Certified Neurocritical Care Intensivist for a 6 month locum assignment in NJ!

This physician will be providing coverage for a 15 bed neurocritical care unit, supervising APP's, who provide 24 / 7 coverage. Physician is expected to round daily on all service patients, write consult notes, provide 24 / 7 oversight of APP coverage. Provider will only be onsite for a portion of the day, with availability by phone thereafter and call back in extreme situations. This is an adult level 1 Trauma center, but trauma patients go to the Trauma / Surgical ICU.

• Bedside procedures - CVC placement, arterial catheterization, lumbar puncture.
• Schedule : 7 day, 24 hours per dat coverage, if possible. Monday 8am Through Monday 8am.
• Patient Load : 10-20 patients per day.
• BC / BE Completion of fellowship training with board certification / board eligibility in Neurocritical Care through the ABPN, UCNS
