• CVOR Surgical Scrub Tech position specializing in cardiovascular and open heart surgery
• 3 years of open heart surgery experience required
• Pediatric cardiac and / or vascular hybrid experience preferred
• On-call requirement allows for 40 hours per week
• Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate in 4 CVOR suites : Adult x2, Pediatrics x1, Hybrid / Endovascular x1
• Handle 3 operating rooms with specialized cardiovascular procedures
• 1-2 weekend shifts per month required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications : BLS, CST, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• 2 years minimum experience required
• Must maintain aseptic technique and knowledge of sterilization processes
• Responsibilities include instrument processing, equipment documentation, and specimen handling
• Work with specialized equipment including cell saver, ECMO, laser safety protocols, and hybrid OR technology
• Handle complex cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve repairs, aortic repairs, and pediatric cardiac surgeries Facility : This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program with state-of-the-art operating suites dedicated to cardiac procedures.
