And we're excited to get to know you and find out what you'll bring to this hands-on, diverse nursing role.\n\nYour Everyday\n\nTake the lead : prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for your patients.\n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure appropriate direct patient care.\n\nMaintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.\n\nMonitor and engage with your patients, families, and appropriate care team members concerning significant events, patient condition changes, or patient questions and concerns.\n\nPrevent and treat wounds.\n\nMonitor and execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.\n\nEnsure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient. \n\nAdvise and consult with supervisor when unable to complete assignments or perform tasks promptly, effectively, or safely.\n\nInitiate patient and family education using appropriate resources and continuum of care services.\n\nContribute to the team by assisting others without being asked.\n\nThe Must-Haves\n\nMinimum : \n\nCurrent nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. \n\nCurrent American Heart Association BLS certification.\n\nCurrent PALs certification. \n\nWORK SHIFT : \n\nDays (United States of America)\n\nLCMC Health is a community.\n\nOur people make health happen.
