Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

As a Sales Planner, you will be primarily responsible for the development of strategic linear sales proposals that meet both the advertiser and network's needs. In addition, you will also be responsible for managing day-to-day partner relationships and account management work.

Linear Responsibilities :

• Lead in the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs by creating media plans to meet advertiser and category objectives
• Build media plans and schedule units based on inventory avails
• Prepare and revise Upfront and Scatter sales plans that maximize the use of inventory while fulfilling agency / client requirements
• Collaborate and brainstorm with the team in the creation of proactive and strategic proposals
• Complete additional projects as directed by Strategic Planning and Ad Sales Finance Management
• Develop strong understanding of our products and solutions for advertisers
• Establish relationships with agency and advertiser partners
• Respond to Sales requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, and research
• Liaison with partners to ensure that all contractual obligations are met
• Coordinate with CFS group to establish credit clearance process and non-media billing procedures when applicable

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range : $70,000 - $75,000 + sales incentive compensation eligible
